Main Street Market is an open-air market hosted by Urban Farmgirl - nestled on the beautiful grounds of Midway Village Museum in Rockford, IL. Shop over 150 vendors from across the Midwest - handmade artisans and purveyors of vintage goods - while enjoying some of the best food & local music.
Volunteers will sell pop and ice cream, tell visitors about Midway Village Museum at our information table and assist the Minks to Sinks team with their sales tent. One of the benefits of volunteering is your admission is FREE! Volunteers shifts are as follows:
- Morning Shift: 8:30-12:00pm
- Afternoon Shift: 11:30-4:00pm
- Ice Cream Sales: 10:30am-3:30pm
This is a great opportunity to meet thousands of people from all over the region, enjoy the village and do some shopping!
Volunteer spaces for this opportunity are limited so you must either call or email me no later than 5pm on Friday, May 12th if you are interested in volunteering.

Welcome to the award-winning Midway Village Museum! The museum campus sits on a 148-acre campus conveniently located near I-90 in Rockford, Illinois. The museum is comfortably nestled among trees to create a beautiful ambiance at any time of the year. Our Victorian-era Village and Main Museum Center are centrally located on the campus within walking distance of each other.
