Global Green is a national non-profit organization (globalgreen.org). In our New York City office, we're seeking help in copy editing our articles, reports and on-line communications related to food waste recovery and solar resiliency.
We're seeking help from a professional in communications, journalism or related fields who can copy edit 2-3 of our materials prior to external publications.
Volunteers will be given a defined project to work on with a maximum of 10-20 hours of work. Interested volunteers who want to go beyond copy editing are welcome to publish their own work as a guest author on our blog.
This work can be done remotely. NYC region volunteers are preferred so that an initial meeting can happen in person.
We welcome return volunteers who are interested in contributing on a regular basis or a couple times per year.

Description
Global Green has influenced more than $20 billion dollars worth of building construction by encouraging the integration of green building and sustainability practices, and we’ve educated millions of people about climate-friendly solutions through our five annual events, including the green event of the year, our Pre-Oscar Party. Our impact has been felt across the country, particularly in areas affected by disasters such as Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans where we led green rebuilding efforts and continue to provide assistance and resources to local residents.
