Green Crew is a grassroots, volunteer action group of Sustainable Claremont, a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Please join us as we give back to the City’s Urban Forest by planting trees!
On Saturday April 29, volunteers will arrive between 7:30 and 7:45 am to sign in and visit with each other. Then at 8:00, there will be a short orientation and tree planting demonstration. Volunteers will then be separated into teams and will work together with City staff to plant trees in the general area of Griffith Park in Claremont. It's a fun way to start the weekend. We hope you'll join us!
For more information and to RSVP, please contact Sustainable Claremont by email at greencrew@sustainableclaremont.org. We will email you and send you a link to a registration form where you can list how many volunteers you will be bringing. A Volunteer Waiver will be emailed and needs to be turned in the morning of the event. Children 15 and under need adult supervision. Volunteers under 18 need a permission slip signed by their parents, which will be emailed to you once you RSVP.
For more information about Sustainable Claremont, please visit us on Facebook or on our website at http://sustainableclaremont.org. This event is fun, family-friendly, free and open to all! Hope to see you soon!
