The Friends of Winnebago County Dog Parks, Inc. is looking for people to help out with the various events throughout the year!
Friends of Winnebago County Dog Parks, Inc is a nonprofit organization who assists with maintaining our existing dog park in Oshkosh, WI, as well as for the development of new dog parks within Winnebago County.
Throughout the summer we host 3-4 doggie paddles, as well as other events each year. We have our biggest fundraiser in Oct, Winnebago Pet Expo. We maintain Best Friends Dog Park, with clean up days.
To prepare for the doggie paddles, we need to clean up the beach! During the event, we need people to help monitor the doggies on the beach and in the water, as well as folks to assist with welcoming our human and doggie guests! Our first doggie paddle start in June!
Meet & Greets are held at the Best Friends Dog Park of Winnebago County (Oshkosh). For this event, we need individuals who feel comfortable collecting money from any sold merchandise, as well as welcoming park visitors!
Clean up days we pick up miscellaneous trash that has blown into the park as well, pruning trees, raking leaves, filling holes, improving the paths, cleaning up invasives and much more.

Friends of Winnebago County Dog Parks, Inc. (FWCDP) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization dedicated to maintaining, improving and establishing off-leash dog parks in Winnebago County, Wisconsin.
Description
Our goal is to serve the community’s need for public areas where responsible pet owners may safely exercise their socialized canine citizens off-leash and in accordance with applicable laws and ordinances. This includes lending support to the maintenance and improvement of Winnebago Countys Best Friends Dog Park in Oshkosh, as well as the establishment of additional off-leash dog parks in Winnebago County.
Friends of Winnebago County Dog Parks encourages community involvement and welcomes new members!
