The Genealogy and Local History Library needs volunteers to help visitors research! If you enjoy genealogy and local history, this is a great opportunity. No experience needed, just an interest and desire to learn. You will be surrounded by the great folks of the genealogy library and the Pecan Valley Genealogical Society who share your love of history and genealogy!
When you are not helping visitors (whether in person or via phone or online request), volunteers do a variety of tasks, including:
* Scanning and creating files to help visitors better find resources at the genealogy library
* Cleaning and organizing the genealogy library
* Sharing research and tips with fellow genealogists
* Researching your own family history
