Program for residents of Cambridge and Somerville. We would like to match seniors in the community with someone for one or more of the following tasks: Errands to the drug store or grocery, telephone buddies, shoveling in the winter, taking someones' recyclables out to the curb, yardwork, companionship that enables a caregiver to get out for a few hours. A few hours a month could make a world of difference to someone in your neighborhood. If you're going to the grocery or drugstore for yourself, could you help a neighbor at the same time? All languages, ages and ethnicities welcome to apply.
