Celebrate Arbor Day with us! Volunteer with Heartland Tree Alliance to plant street trees in the Volker and Coleman Highland neighborhoods, located in the midtown area of Kansas City, Missouri. This is a great opportunity for college students needing service learning hours or a small corporate group.
No prior tree planting experience is necessary. Tools and equipment will be provided. . All volunteers must register in advance by completing online registration. Bridging The Gap (BTG) educates citizens, businesses and governments about the impact their decisions have on our environment. We help them follow through with direct action to make our world, region and community green, healthy and sustainable.
BTG does this by working to create awareness of our environment and the need to make our communities sustainable at every level and in all life activities -- in homes, workplaces, schools and neighborhoods. In all of our work, we seek to create partnerships among governments, businesses, community leaders and individuals to improve our community by making it healthy and sustainable for our future.
