As a Bully Buddy Coordinator we play a vital role in the rescue dogs life! We work to support new fosters, we match the foster with the appropriate dog that fits their family and lifestyle. We assist new and veteran fosters to prepare their bully buddy for adoption. This is a people oriented position, if you're great with people and love dogs, we want you to become a part of the bully buddy team!
This position requires basic computer skills, internet access, you must be organized and able to work with people when they are happy and when they are frustrated. This position requires approximately 10 hour a week.
The Love Pit is a rescue group saving pit bull type dogs from death row. If you are committed to being part of the change, this is the group that can help you be that change.

Mission Statement
Our mission is to reduce the number of homeless pit bull type dogs in shelters and on the streets through rescue, rehabilitation, education, and advocacy. Our goal is to educate the public about a breed that often falls victim to breed specific legislation, discrimination, and cruelty and promote responsible pet ownership through spay/neuter initiatives, vaccinations, and training resources.
Description
The Love Pit is a foster based rescue that is based in the Dallas Fort Worth area. We rescue death row dogs from DFW shelters and place them in foster homes until permanent homes can be found.
