PLACEMENT PURPOSE
Assist with Red Cross response at the disaster site
OPEN TIME DAYS
During a Disaster (\"Operational State\")
• Choose your \"on call\" availability on monthly schedule
• DAT responses can last about 2 hours or longer depending on travel distance and complexity of disaster
Day-to-Day (\"Steady State\")
• Monthly chapter disaster meetings
• Orientation to the American Red Cross

• Casework and Recovery Planning Fundamentals
