Founded in 1988, Coptic Orphans' mission is to support Egypt's Coptic children of fatherless families through child sponsors and a network of hundreds of village-based volunteers, churches, and organizations. Our programs help children stay in school (and stay with their families) until the end of their highest education.

You might not know it, but Coptic Orphans is 90% driven by the hard work of volunteers, especially the 450 Church-based servants who work directly with the fatherless children in Egypt.

To support their heroic efforts, we are always grateful when good-hearted people step forward to volunteer at our international headquarters in Fairfax, VA.

People like you, who live right down the street, are key to accomplishing important behind-the-scenes tasks. Volunteers make it possible to offer better services to more kids!

We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds and are happy to help high school volunteers looking to complete community service hours. However, we ask that all our volunteers be at least 16 years of age.

Right now we’re working to thank new donors by writing brief notes to them. Would you be willing to commit a few hours?
