See another side of your community and meet some great people! Volunteers deliver meals to senior citizens, homeless shelters, individuals and families in the Evanston community.
Deliveries are scheduled each Tuesday and Thursday from 2-4 PM. All shifts meet at Allison Hall on the Northwestern University campus.
Volunteers willing to drive are appreciated, but no car is necessary for meal deliveries. Come join us!

Description
The Campus Kitchen at Northwestern (CKNU) recovers food from campus dining halls and local organizations that would otherwise go wasted and re-purposes it into balanced meals for food insecure individuals in the Evanston community. We also lead "Beyond the Meal" community outreach programs including Nutrition Education and SNAP outreach.
