Hello everyone,
My name is Ruben and this year I will take on a program called L.I.T (which stands for Leaders in Training). The main point of the program is to involving young minded teens on how to properly write resumes and the importance of having a job, along with knowing the responsibilities of perusing a career. We help them learn the importance of having a plan when going into college and preparing them for the real world.
What we need help with is going out and seeing the differences of jobs. You guys are emailed because I have met you and I know you are passionate about your jobs and want to show our teens the importance of being passionate for what you do in the work field.
We need help planning field trips, meaning we will come to you during summer. During the field trip we would like to if possible to discuss...
How you came into the position you are in, obstacles you overcame, if you have a degree along with the steps you took to achieve that degree and what you are currently doing now. Along with, if you could provide food for our members. We will only have 14 members in this program and it would be amazing if they could see what you guys do.

If you could not provide a field trip for us to attend but want to be involved we have dates that we discuss and go more in depth about resumes and interviews. If you would like to be a part of that please let me know.
I hope you can offer some type of opportunity for our members because that is what the Club is all about making opportunities and providing a great experience. Together I hope we can make this summer an excellent one for them. I hope you can get back to me and we can work something out.

Description
Many children have no adult supervision after school. Studies have shown that the hours between 3 and 7 p.m. are the hours that most kids are likely to get involved with crimes, be victims of crime or engage in other risky behavior. The Clubs provide an alternative to the dangers of the streets. Moreover, the Clubs provide stimulating activities that help build character, self-esteem, values, and skills.
