Marketing / Social Media Summer Intern

Bold Idea, an education nonprofit in Dallas, is seeking a summer intern, who will support the organization’s marketing communications and social media activities.

Specific tasks include writing and posting blog articles, developing digital and written student success stories, updating website content, researching relevant trends in computer science education, and sharing content on Bold Idea’s social media channels. A qualified candidate for this position should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, be punctual and dependable, demonstrate creativity and problem solving abilities, and the sense of humor and ability to thrive in a startup environment. Experience in blogging, writing, social media, photography and/or videography for community organizations is a plus. Start/end dates are negotiable. Hours would probably be 10-15 per week, with at least one day at our Dallas office. This is an unpaid opportunity, though we prefer working with university students who can secure course credit for this position.
