Texas Advocacy Project

We need volunteers to help make sure our event runs smoothly! On May 6th, Rustic Tap will be graciously hosting us as we throw a fundraiser and Kentucky Derby Watch Party! There will be a raffle and a race bid as well as a special Tito's Mint Julep in honor of the day. $1 from every Tito's Julep ordered will go to Texas Advocacy Project to further their efforts throughout the state.

The raffle being hosted is also an auction. Each raffle ticket will be 'bet' on one of the top 5 horses. The players whose horse wins will then be drawn from to win the prizes.

VOLUNTEERS WILL BE:

  • Checking in guests!
  • Answering questions about raffle (prizes, cost of ticket, etc)!
  • Selling raffle tickets!
  • & most importantly, getting a chance to enjoy the atmosphere of The Rustic Tap!

Invite friends and stay for the live music happening as soon as our event ends at 7pm.

Snacks will be provided throughout the event!

Mission Statement

Texas Advocacy Project provides FREE legal services statewide to victims of domestic and dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking.

Description

Texas Advocacy Project is a non profit law firm working directly with victims, shelters, law enforcement agencies, and courts across Texas to deliver effective legal services to Texans in need. Our services are free of charge and provide the type of long-term solutions which break the cycle of violence for thousands of Texans each year. We accept clients without regard to ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation or county of residence. Further minimizing barriers to legal services, we have English and Spanish-speaking attorneys and utilize a language interpretation service available around the clock, allowing us to give legal advice in over 170 languages. The Project also employs a service for deaf callers.
