The Celebration of Kindness is Ben's Bells' biggest fundraiser of the year! Food, music, live and silent auctions, and more takes place in our Downtown courtyard on the evening of May 6th 2017.
We will be working Thursday May 4th and Friday May 5th from 10am-5pm to clean, organize, and prepare the space for the event and we're looking for YOU!
Join us 10am-2pm, 2pm-5pm or for the whole day from 10am-5pm and work alongside the Ben's Bells staff and board as we spend the day in our beautiful outdoor courtyard and air conditioned studio ;-)
Tasks will include light cleaning and lifting of furniture, decorating and organizing the studio and courtyard to serve as silent auction space, performance stage, and wet bar.
On Saturday May 6th we're looking for 35 volunteers from 4pm-10pm to join us and serve as registration and ticket agents, bartenders and servers, assist in the running of the live and silent auctions, and help manage the performance stage!Signup for 1 or all 3 days at https://www.cervistech.com/acts/webreg/eventwebreglist.php?org_id=0240&event_category_id=82

Description
The Ben's Bells Project is a 501c3 nonprofit community art project focusing on the creation of Ben's Bells- beautiful ceramic hanging works of art inspired by the spirit of Ben Mare Packard. Through the creation and distribution of Ben's Bells, diverse individuals are unified in a powerful network of mutual support. Each Bell is created by the hands of many, so that by the time one Bell is completed, a multitude of individuals has been involved in the process. Bell-making activities include sculpting and painting clay beads and centerpieces. Ben's Bells also offers innovative outreach programs for schools, workplaces, and organizations which serve to educate and insprie students, faculty, and staff to recognize the importance of kindness. These programs empower participants to create a culture of kindess in their communities and beyond.
