As a Patient Care Volunteer, you will be able to provide companionship and support to our Hospice Patients as well as the Caregivers. Volunteering is an integral part of our team philosophy and there are many benefits to volunteering.
As a direct care volunteer you might assist with the berevement phone calls, visiting patients and their families in their home setting, assisting with respite while a caregiver runs an errand, doing arts or crafts with our patients, assisting with activities, provide emotional support and comfort by being yourself with a smiling face. There is also an opportunity to assist with the annual Rose Memorial, by reading names of patients that have passed and providing suppport to bereaved in attendance.
We would love to have you on our team and if you would like more information, please call Jessica at 855-800-7673 to discuss our traiing opportunities.
