The Alzheimer's Association is one of the Pittsburgh Marathon "Run for A Reason" charity partners. Along with being a partner we are tasked with providing 10 volunteers on race day (May 7th). These volunteers will be positioned along the finish line congratulating runners on their accomplishments.
All volunteers will be provided with a T-Shirt and a Pittsburgh Pirates ticket voucher to an upcoming game.

Description
The Alzheimer's Association provides services to the Greater Pennsylvania community. Our support groups are led by trained volunteers and held regularly. Our education programs for the general public, both online and in person, feature information on topics such as diagnosis, warning signs, communication, living with Alzheimer's disease and caregiving techniques.
The Association is the leading voice for Alzheimer's disease advocacy, making sure the need for Alzheimer's care, education and research is heard at every level of government, including Harrisburg.
As the largest nonprofit funder of Alzheimer's research, the Association is committed to accelerating the global process toward methods of treatment, prevention and ultimately, a cure.
