About

We are building an online web platform that will improve the effectiveness, transparency and accountability of global disaster relief and humanitarian aid. Join us!

We are looking for a volunteer with significant DevOps experience, that can join team to help implement, launch, and manage the Heroku and AWS infrastructure of a major project (in progress).

Role includes assisting volunteer developer team with:

  1. infrastructure preparation for site launch. This includes both helping to map out missing tasks and active contributions.
  2. Work throughout the full infrastructure, including architecture, communication, monitoring, availability, scaling, failover, and recovery.
  3. Assist in or lead incident response, diagnosis and followup on system outages or alerts across our stack
  4. Work with engineering teams to ensure system scale and reliability.
Must be familiar with github and Pull Requests (review/testing/command line) Tech Stack Includes:
  • AWS
  • Heroku
  • Flyway
  • Java/Spring/Gradle
  • MySQL
  • Angular4
  • CSS - Materialize
