ORGANIZATION: RENEW THERAPEUTIC RIDING CENTER

  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.
  • 5 people are interested

Come join in the fun!! We are a Therapeutic Riding Center and have many volunteer roles available.

One of our primary volunteer roles is a 'Horse Leader'. As a horse leader, your responsibilities would include grooming and tacking of the horse, leading the horse during lessons and untacking the horse when the lesson ends. You would remain with the horse during all times of the lesson while the rider is on horseback, ensuring safety with the horse. Physical requirements would be the ability to walk in an arena for an hour lesson, with an occasional jog in between.

We would be happy to answer any questions you might have, or give you more ideas on how to become involved. We are blessed to witness miracles on a pretty regular basis and love sharing what we do with others.
