You will develop and deliver education programs on cognitive engineering technology.
Startling new information has come to light which fundamentally alters our understanding of consciousness. The work may be the most important consciousness research of this century.
Genetic engineering strategies for creating cognitive enhancements such as permanent higher states of consciousness have just been discovered by Future Life Institute’s researchers.
Although this idea sounds incredible, if you have been following the revolution in genetic engineering you will understand why it is feasible.
A project is being organized to produce gene therapies based on this research. Leadership and staff candidates will be selected from the highest scoring graduates of a preparatory education program, which you will develop and deliver. You will receive compensation from tuition.

Future Life Institute has formulated genetic engineering strategies for creating permanent higher states of consciousness. Although this idea sounds incredible, if you have been following the "CRISPR" revolution in genetic engineering, you will understand why it could be feasible with current technology.
In the near future, you may be able to choose the flavor of meditative state you want - Zen, Vipassana, Mindfulness, Concentration, Loving Kindness - and take a gene therapy pill to optimize your brain for the state you selected. You will remain in that state until you take a second gene therapy pill to reverse the change.
Since genetic engineering changes are permanent until reversed, you could remain in higher consciousness for weeks, months, or years. Theoretically, you could live the rest of your life in expanded awareness.
