Handy with tools? Build wheelchair-accessible garden beds for seniors

It's springtime, and for many people that means... GARDENING!!!! At the Julia Temple Healthcare Center, we have a lot of wheelchair-bound dementia residents who are life-long gardeners, but who can't garden in the traditional way anymore. So, we are looking for some handy volunteers to build raised table garden beds for our residents so they can do some therapuetic gardening through the summer! This is a great project for wood-workers, or also a great team-building volunteer project. We have a materials list and plans for the type of garden bed we're looking for, though we're also flexible if you have some better ideas! :) We would like to get the finished beds delivered to Julia Temple in Englewood by the end of May for planting. Please let me know if you're interested, and I'll send you the link for materials and plans to see if it's a good fit.
