We are looking for a creative and reliable volunteer/intern to work with SFARY's Firefighter Youth Academy (FYA) team to develop promotional media content that can be added to our website, social media pages and several other fundraising applications. This individual will work directly with the Development Team.
In the past few months, the high school-aged participants of the SFARY Media Arts group have learned the basics of digital video production and have produced short videos as a community outreach project.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Social Media guru to help them get their work out to the community and provide them with the guidance and knowledge to sustain this outreach effort. We are looking for someone with basic/intermediate level media production experience (video, photography, print, copy editing) that enjoys working in a youthful and energetic environment. If you are creative, reliable, and have a positive attitude this is a great opportunity to join our growing organization.

Description
SFARY's Firefighter Youth Academy uses public safety training to instill the fundamental principles of academic achievement, community service and self-discipline. Cadets in the Academy also recieve life guidance, exposure to careers in public safety and mentorship from members of local fire departments and Emergency Medical Services. Ultimately our goal is to inspire, develop and empower youth on a path towards personal success while also revitalizing and strengthening communities.
