Mission Statement

Sunrise Wildlife Rehabilitation is a volunteer, not for profit 501c3 organization, and was formed to aid native wildlife that has been injured, orphaned or displaced. We serve High Springs and neighboring communities. We also assist rescuers with information on reuniting orphans, natural history, as well as assisting rescuers form other areas find rehabilitators in there areas. We conduct off-site wildlife interpretive programs as various venues and events around our area, featuring live native wildlife ambassadors.

Description

We assist in the rehabilitation of injured orpahaned native wildlife. Our off site interpretive programs featuring live natve wildlife are ment to instill a greater appreciation for wildlife. We also strive to enlighten the public on ways to co-exist with the wild creatures that share out world. Our main goal is to successfully rehabilitate wildlife in our care- striving to keep them wild, by minimizing handleing and exposure. Our facility has open air recovery areas, as well as ICU areas and release/conditioning enclosures to prepare for release aftwr recovery.
