In a continued effort to promote iMatter in our community, Lauren’s House is excited to announce a 5K Fun Run/Walk on the beautiful (and flat!) Ravenswood Open Space Preserve. This fun run will not be timed, and 100% of the proceeds will directly benefit Lauren’s House activities.

Lauren’s House mission is to provide holistic academic & emotional support to children, youth & their families primarily in East Palo Alto/East Menlo Park.

Description

Since 2009 we have been providing free after-school and summer programs to low-income and homeless children and youth (5-18 years), as well as services for their families.We focus on developing the entire person, with service learning opportunities, tutoring and mentoring, professional counseling, enrichment activities, healthy meals, and programs to strengthen the family.
