Description: Lawn mowing volunteers help seniors enjoy a safe, happy spring and summer with well-maintained yards! Having a maintained yard helps seniors maintain pride in their homes - a feeling that all homeowners should have the chance to enjoy.

About us: East Side Elders helps seniors live full and rewarding lives - in the home and community they want - for as long as possible and as healthy and well as possible. Our teams of volunteers, students and community members provide a wide range of services and activities that give the necessary support and resources to our elderly neighbors wherever they call home.

Qualifications:

• Must pass a background check

• Must be physically able to mow lawns

• Does not have to have a mower, but having a mower and a truck to haul it is a bonus

• Able to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds in a caring, courteous manner
