If you like to talk on the phone and love to help others, then you may want to consider volunteering for the Workforce Development Program at Catholic Charities. As a telephone pre-secreener you would speak with clients who are interested in finding a job, then determine if they are eligible to join the Workforce Development Program. If you can spare 2-4 hours each week, just 1 day a week, you would be providing a service that would help others in your own community find a job. Description
Catholic Charities Workforce provides volunteer opportunities that directly and immediately have a positive impact on the clients we serve, who are unemployed or underemployed. The Workforce Program helps families in crisis by giving them the skills needed to find work and become self-sufficient.
