The Loveland Garden Tour & Art Show is an annual fundraiser for Loveland Youth Gardeners, a local non-profit organization.
This year’s tour features seven unique gardens in the Mariana Springs subdivision in west Loveland, a sale of "art for the garden", and a silent auction of upcycled garden art to enhance outdoor living spaces, created by local and regional artists.
What are our volunteer opportunities this year?
On the day of the Tour, we have two shifts: 7:45 am - 11:00 am or 11:00 am - 2:15 pm. We have a variety of "jobs", including volunteers to greet tour guests, answer questions (gardening and otherwise), point guests in the "right" direction, provide information about LYG, assist artists in the gardens, help with ticket sales, check for entry wristbands, and assist artists with sales.
We’re also looking for a volunteer to assist our breakfast vendor from 8:00 am - 10:00 am, as well as a volunteer to handle placing and retrieving street signs at each garden before and after the event.
Volunteers attend the Pre-Tour and Volunteer Orientation Meeting on Wednesday, June 20th, 4:30 - 7:30. Tour the gardens without the crowds and learn about your volunteer role while enjoying some light appetizers.
Proceeds benefit Loveland Youth Gardeners, a local non-profit organization, which provides educational programs for youth ages 5-21 and fresh produce for low-income residents in our community through the "Plant a Row for the Hungry" program.
