Join us in caring for native trees and shrubs at Veteran’s Creek! Spend your Saturday in this magical, mossy canyon right in SE Portland. Come dressed for the weather with sturdy shoes and rain/sun protection and we will provide gloves, tools, and guidance, as well as breakfast snacks and hot chocolate/coffee. Please arrive around 8:45 to be registered and assigned to a crew and get ready to have some fun!
This project is in partnership with Friends of Trees and Portland Parks & Recreation with support from East Multnomah Soil and Water Conservation District and Metro. Special thanks to Elemental Technologies for sponsoring this planting!

Description
The Johnson Creek Watershed Council was formed in 1994 to fill the need for a single organization which could have the entire watershed as its focus. The JCWC provides an important opportunity for community members to participate in enhancing the resource that flows through their neighborhoods and communities. In 2001, the Council became a 501(c)3 non-profit.
