Such an easy way to make a difference! Harley's Hope helps keep pets out of shelters by helping their humans when financial emergencies arise. We need one or two volunteers to make follow up phone calls and/or emails with clients who've received assistance. It will only take a couple of hours a week to compile notes, testimonials and updated photos of pets helped and enter into SalesForce database. Most work can be done from your home in the Colorado Springs area with a reliable computer. Good people, communication, and computer skills are essential for this position. Two volunteers may share duties if desired.

Mission Statement
Our purpose is to ensure low income pet parents and their companion or service animals remain together when issues arise. The goal in doing so is to prevent at-risk animals from being surrendered or falling victim to euthanasia for treatable conditions and behaviors.
Description
Harley's Hope Foundation is Colorado's only multi-service safety net charity dedicated entirely to keeping pets and people together. We don't do pet adoptions but instead work hard to keep pets in their existing homes. After all, adoption is just the first step in the journey.
Services include financial assistance with major veterinary care, emergency foster/boarding assistance for pets whose people are hospitalized, pet food assistance, and much more.
