Looking to recruit minority volunteers, skilled an unskilled to meet needs in disastrous situations so that we can operate projects while cooperating with other volunteer organizations active in disasters. Volunteers will help with home repair projects.

Description
AmeriCorps VISTA (Volunteers in Service to America) members bring their passion and perseverance where the need is greatest: to organizations that help eradicate poverty. The most pressing challenges we face as a nation require the most courageous and creative people to address them. AmeriCorps is searching for volunteers to serve the local community in a number of ways. As part of a partnership with the University of South Carolina, we encourage students to volunteer but opportunities are open to the public and all ages.
