Looking for something fun to do and a way to give back on Mother's Day weekend (Friday, May 12, Saturday, May 13 and Sunday, May 14)? We are looking for volunteers to help staff our Annual Spring Plant Sale. This is our largest fundraiser of the year. We partner with CSU and Front Range Community College and all proceeds benefit the horticulture programs at all three organizations. Have fun interacting with people and helping us support our mission!
Volunteers needed to be plant valets and help customers load plants in their cars. Or help out at our plant check station where shoppers can store their plants while they continue to shop or check out or tally stations to count plants and record them on a tally sheet to take to the cashier. If you love plants and want to work with different types of plant, we have those opportunities as well.

Description
We are a community botanic garden that is dedicated to the following values:
- Cultivating community through a passion for horticulture
- Honoring our local place, both the natural and the human environments
- Demonstrating respect and compassion for all people
- Serving the northern Colorado community through public involvement and partnerships
- Providing exceptional service with enthusiasm, creativity, and cost-effectiveness
Currently we have a Children's Garden, Garden of Eatin', Rock Garden, Sustainable Backyard, and various other gardens and demonstrations. In the coming years we plan to add a Prarie Garden, Foothills Garden, Undaunted Garden, a Great Lawn and amphitheatre and various themed gardens.
Our programing includes youth education: camps, school tours, and the Discovery Zone and Train Garden; adult educations: cooking, gardening and landscaping classes; and the Plant it Forward program which works to encourage home gardeners to plant extra to donate to the Food Bank for Larimer County.
