A mixed-income apartment community, which houses many formerly homeless individuals, veterans, and low-income residents, is looking for a volunteer to assist and educate residents on meal preparation. The volunteer will collaborate with staff to provide instruction to the residents on cooking their own meals and safe food handling. This person should have experience with cooking and meal preparation instruction in a group setting and be willing to demonstrate options for healthy, quick and easy meal preparation - food will be provided for these demonstrations. This is a fun and meaningful way to share a love for food and cooking!
