Come and join us, CSULA Center for Student Involvement and Trash Free Earth , on Thursday, April 27 at 11AM on a Cigarette Butt campus cleanup. CSULA are currently in the works of making their school a smoke-free campus. As an effort to raise awareness, CSULA has teamed up with Trash Free Earth to upcycle and recycle the cigarette butts littered throughout campus. Our goal is to prevent them from our contaminating our marine environment and landfills.

Mission Statement
We educate communities about the impact of trash on our environment through experiential education (such as cleanups and hands-on activities).
Description
We, Trash Free Earth, are a group of passionate and dedicated volunteers that host educational cleanups to remove trash from public places, including parks, streets, and trails. We are currently focused on two main projects: Elysian Park and Skid Row. We host monthly cleanups at these two locations. Once a month we partner up with other organizations and host trail cleanups together. We also attend and participate in environmental educational events, as well as visit schools to educate students about waste management.
Volunteers will do their community service work in public locations such as parks and trails.
