Looking for a meaningful way to make a difference?

Blue Ridge Care-Patient and Family Support Volunteers provide support to hospice patients and their family members. Volunteers provide companionship, caring presence, vigil sitting and assistance with errands in the patient's home, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and in the Blue Ridge Care In-Patient Care Center. Volunteers also provide respite relief for caregivers allowing them much needed time to rest, take a break, or run errands. We also provide companionship through Pet Therapy. Completion of the Blue Ridge Care Training Program is required for all patient-related volunteer roles.

This is a rewarding volunteer experience through which you will make a direct, positive impact on the life of a Hospice patient in your community.

Volunteer with us today!

Please Note: We require a background check on all of our volunteers. We do not accept volunteers for pre-trial, court ordered, school, or church community service. Must be 18 years of age to apply.
