Description
Denver Urban Scholars envisions that every young person, no matter his or her socioeconomic status or demographics, should have the opportunity to develop a strong, positive sense of self and to achieve academic success.The mentor agrees to establish a personal relationship with the student, following the students progress and providing whatever guidance or support is necessary to help the student succeed in getting through the high school years. The mentor has no financial obligation; the only obligation is quality time with their student. The partnership team also includes a specially assigned member of the high school staff who monitors the students progress and is available to provide regular counseling.
