The American Diabetes Association Central Florida is proud to announce the 2017 Father of the Year Awards. This year we are honoring four outstanding fathers for their strength, commitment and love they exhibit as fathers. These fathers have not only attained success in their chosen field or endeavor, but carved out time to teach and mature their children while also becoming good citizens and proud members of our community.

Since 1999, the Father's Day Council and the American Diabetes Association have partnered to raise over $20 million to help fulfill the mission of the American Diabetes Association: to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes.

The Central Florida Father of the Year Awards Dinner will be held on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at 6:00 PM at theRosen Shingle Creek. Volunteers are needed the night of the event staring at 5:00 PM-10:30 PM, for registration, check-out and fund a need. Volunteers must be over 18 years old.
