We are seeking volunteers to help us at the annual Touch A Truck fundraising event. This is a very fun event where children have the opportunity to check out & climb on 30 different types of trucks. This event is being held at the NIPSA Campus, just north of our Museum.
What: We have various volunteer roles noted below with any 2 - 3 hour shift:
- Event Assistant - helps assists guest in exploring the trucks in a safe and controlled manner - Need 15 volunteers
- Photographer - takes pictures of guests with your camera & we will supply a drop box for sending pics back to us - Need 1 volunteer
- Photographer Assistant - captures photography release forms from families - Need 2 volunteers
- Food Sales Assistant - helps with selling of food - Need 1 -2 volunteers
- Parking Team Assistant - helps with directing cars safely within parking lot to event - Need 6 volunteers
Requirements: Depending on the role, there is standing & walking involved - so wear comfortable shoes. Dress casual and for the weather that day. Comfortable with communicating with guests, and helping them on/off trucks and or collecting forms.
