Crossroads House is a comfort care home for the dying, providing physical, emotional and spiritual care for those with less than three months to live. We have a variety of positions available including hands on caregiving, companionship, spiritual and emotional support and fundraising support. Our caregivers work in organized shifts, but with the flexibility to pick and choose those days and times that fit with your schedule. No previous experience is required. Our on-boarding process provides all necessary training with involved hands-on instruction. Our goal is to empower all of our volunteers with the knowledge and skills necessary to care for those approaching the end of life. It is also an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in professional caregiving to gain skills and build their resume in a compassionate and highly supportive environment. Our family of volunteers is a fantastic network of experienced individuals connected by kindness.
