Unlike traditional pantries, Skyline's food program is modelled as one of the Regional Food Bank's Food Resource Centers. In order to offer patrons a familiar and comfortable experience, the FRC is set up like a grocery store where each household is able to choose their own groceries based on a list of numbered categories.
Volunteers working in the FRC would be able to contribute to an atmosphere of respect and compassion while bagging groceries and verifying that each patron picked out the correct amount of items listed on their grocery card.
The Food Resource Center is open during these hours, but volunteers are welcome to come before/after to help stock and organize.
- Mondays 1 PM - 6 PM
- Tuesdays & Thursdays 10:30 AM - 2 PM
- Wednesdays 1 PM - 4 PM
- Friday 9 AM - 12 PM
- Saturday 9 AM - 11 AM

Skyline has served the OKC community for over 40 years. Our agency is a mission of the United Methodist Church which offers different services for at-risk & under-served adults, youth and children. In addition to the Food Resource Center, Skyline is home to several other programs meant to assist those struggling with poverty. The ultimate goal is to restore dignity to the lives of patrons, end stereotypes, and foster a new era of compassion and respect for those living on the margins.
