The Palmdale City Library is looking for a volunteer to help with checking in registered Storytime participants on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings in October and November. Familiarity with tech and specifically IPads a must. Ability to work independently and problem solve necessary for this position.
Your time investment will help us host successful Storytimes several times a week!
A successful Volunteer Storytime Aide will have the ability to:
- Assist with set-up and take-down of Storytime program.
- Use an Ipad and navigate the registration system independently to check-in participants.
- Think on their feet and exercise sound judgment.
- Interact in a friendly, patient manner with a diverse range of individuals of all ages and backgrounds.
- Be comfortable working with and around children.
