The International Rescue Committee (IRC) responds to the world's worst humanitarian crises and helps people to survive and rebuild their lives. Under the supervision of the Civics Instructor, classroom aides will teach civics classes to newly arrived refugees. This position is ideal for someone with a political science or teaching background
Responsibilities:
- Offer class presentations on the rights and duites of citizenship
- Make copies of instructional materials when needed
- Minimum Commitment: 4 hrs/week for a minimum of 10 weeks
