The Daffodil Dash is a fun, family oriented, inclusive 1 km walk and 5 km run event. It is an opportunity to bring the community together at an event that family, friends and co-workers can enjoy, regardless of age or fitness level.
Funds raised through the Daffodil Dash will lead crucial cancer prevention initiatives, fund lifesaving research, and deliver trusted information and compassionate support to people living with cancer and their caregivers.
Event day volunteers help create a fun and community focused atmosphere while making sure the race and festivities run smoothly. Event day volunteers are Daffodil Dash champions, who help bring the event to life by assisting in all areas, including:

Description
The Canadian Cancer Society was officially formed in 1938, but the seeds for the Society were planted back in 1929 when the Saskatchewan Medical Association formed the country’s first cancer committee.
Today, the Society is the largest national charitable funder of cancer research in Canada. The Society makes more impact, against more cancers, in more communities, than any other cancer charity in Canada.
With your help, we can change what it means to have cancer. In the future, we will be able to successfully treat it, better manage it or outright prevent it, so no Canadian has to fear this disease.
Help save the lives of those who mean the most to you by becoming a volunteer or a donor today.
