Make a Difference in Norristown: Volunteer at the Hospitality Center!
Are you passionate about helping others and giving back to your community? The Norristown Hospitality Center is searching for dedicated volunteers to join our team and support those in need.
Become a Resource Desk Hero!
We need your help managing our resource desk from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. In this vital role, you'll be the welcoming face that guides clients to our services, ensuring their needs are met efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting clients in finding the services they need
- Answering phone inquiries
- Keeping social services lines moving smoothly
- Managing the shower program
- Monitoring the main client area
Do you have a few hours a week to spare? We have volunteer opportunities available Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. Even a few hours of your time can make a significant impact on someone's life.

Motivated by God's love, the center provides basic needs and social services to empower those experiencing homelessness and poverty.
Description
For over 30 years, the Norristown Hospitality Center has continued to be a place of hope and support for the mentally ill, unemployed, homeless, and low-income. Each day we have between 85 and 122 people sign in to use our free services, available five days a week. Services include: breakfast, hot showers, mail services, counseling, lockers, emergency food baskets, legal, medical & mental health referrals, case management, and afternoon programs aimed to strengthen life skills. Breakfast is served Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 8:00 am.
