We are looking for volunteers who can help serve lunch plates to our Residents once weekly from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. We are in need of help on Mondays and Wednesdays. Proof of COVID-19 vaccination is required to volunteer at Little Sisters at this time. All volunteers must be 18 or older.
COVID-19 Safety Guidelines:
-Volunteers, staff, and visitors take temperature and answer symptoms questionnaire upon entering.
-All volunteers, staff, and visitors are required to wear masks at all times.
-Frequent use of provided hand sanitizer required.

Mission Statement
The Little Sisters of the Poor are an international congregation of Roman Catholic women religious founded in 1839 by Saint Jeanne Jugan. Together with a diverse network of collaborators, we serve the elderly poor in over 30 countries around the world. Continuing the work of Saint Jeanne Jugan, our mission is to offer the neediest elderly of every race and religion a home where they will be welcomed as Christ, cared for as family, and accompanied with dignity until God calls them to himself.
Description
Since 1901 at the same location in Mobile, Alabama, we have worked hard to give compassionate care to elderly men and women of the Gulf Coast region who have outlived their resources. More than 4,000 people from all walks of life, of all religions and beliefs, have made their home with us in Mobile.
