We are pleased to announce that the annual tradition of a Hot Air Balloon Event on Labor Day weekend at Memorial Park here in Colorado Springs will continue for its 42nd year! More than 65 hot air balloons are expected to participate and 150,000+ spectators will come out to participate in balloon glows for the festival's Saturday and Sunday evening schedules. Along with the balloons, a beer garden, food and product vendors and a kids bouncy village will accompany the hot air balloons at Memorial Park over Labor Day weekend. The Colorado Springs Labor Day Lift Off is an event of Hot Apple Productions and the Colorado Springs Sports Corporation.
Volunteer Roles & Shifts: assist with event operations including parking, VIP hospitality, beer garden, etc.
Saturday, Sept. 1:
Morning shift: approx. 4:30-10:00 am
Evening Shift: approx. 3:30-10:00 pm
Sunday, Sept. 2:
Morning shift: approx. 4:30-10:00 am
Evening Shift: approx. 3:30-10:00 pm
Monday, Sept. 3:
Morning shift: approx. 4:30-10:00 am

Description
Colorado Springs Sports Corporation (The Sports Corp) is a 501(c)3 non-profit committed to establishing a strong regional presence through positive economic development and contribution to the quality of life for citizens in the Pikes Peak Region. The Sports Corp was established in 1978 to assist in the relocation of the United States Olympic Committee from New York City to Colorado Springs and has grown and prospered to become a driving force in the agenda for amateur and Olympic sport. Through event promotion and community development activities, The Sports Corp plays a critical role in bringing city and civic leaders together with some of the nation's premier sporting organizations, including the United States Olympic Committee and national and international sports organizations.
