Have you or a loved one been affected by the disease of Addiction? Are you aware of the opioid epidemic that is threatening every neighborhood in our community? Do you wonder what you can do to aid in this fight to eliminate stigma about addiction and provide prevention initiatives to our youth? If you answered YES to any of these questions, then we have a role for you at the Lakes Area Community Coalition. We are looking for a Treasurer for our organization as well as individuals who just want to get involved in our coalition. If you are available to attend our monthly Board meetings (at Moonlight Cafe in Walled Lake) on the 4th Monday of each month, please consider joining us as our Treasurer. Here is a summary of what we need:

1. Serve as a member of the Executive Committee.

2. Present an annual financial report to the Executive Committee and an annual financial summary to the membership. In the event of funding, in partnership with the fiscal agent, the treasurer shall do the following remaining duties:

1. Allocate and disperse expense funds.

2. Maintain accurate records of expenses and income.

3. Submit records and reports to funding sources and government agencies as required.

4. Annually provide the Executive Committee with a budget of estimated expenditures required to conduct business and activities.
