Pikes Peak Airstrip Attack is a half-mile, side-by-side roll race and trap speed competition featuring hundreds of the fastest, most powerful street cars in the nation. The Pikes Peak Airstrip Attack is the only event in the country where participants have the opportunity to come together at a commercial airport the size and importance of the Colorado Springs Airport while competing for the title of the Mile High Victor.

Event Operations Volunteer Roles: set-up, admissions/ticket sales, beer garden, parking/staging, etc.

Description

Colorado Springs Sports Corporation (The Sports Corp) is a 501(c)3 non-profit committed to establishing a strong regional presence through positive economic development and contribution to the quality of life for citizens in the Pikes Peak Region. The Sports Corp was established in 1978 to assist in the relocation of the United States Olympic Committee from New York City to Colorado Springs and has grown and prospered to become a driving force in the agenda for amateur and Olympic sport. Through event promotion and community development activities, The Sports Corp plays a critical role in bringing city and civic leaders together with some of the nation's premier sporting organizations, including the United States Olympic Committee and national and international sports organizations.
