The first BIKE THE BRANCHES ride took place in September 2017.
After a year of people being cooped up, and needing things to do outside, it is time to organize another Bike the Branches ride! September 25, 2021

Mission Statement
The Friends & Foundation of APL provides critical financial support to the Albany (NY) Public Library in order to help the Library provide education, literacy, career development, cultural enrichment and lifelong learning. (In February 2020, the Albany Public Library Foundation merged with the Friends of Albany Public Library.)
Description
The FFAPL’s purpose is to
- Benefit, promote, support, encourage and generally enhance the programs and facilities of the Albany Public Library
- Provide financial assistance and support for specific Library programs and projects, and
- Assist the Library Board of Trustees in making its programs and facilities more valuable to the community.
The FFAPL is functionally integrated with the Albany Public Library.
