The Fort Myers Muscle Walk is a fun event where the community and our families rally together and walk and roll to raise awareness, support one another and in honor of those who have lost their lives to neuromuscular diseases.

The Walk is a fun-filled event with music, photos, vendors and sponsors present as well as face painters and activities for the kids. While the event is free and open to the public, it is asked that donations are made to the MDA and it's mission.

The MDA is a nonprofit, voluntary health agency working to defeat over 43 neuromuscular diseases including ALS. Through programs such as our annual Muscle Walk, we are able to generate the funds necessary to provide the families we service with comprehensive patient and community services and far-reaching professional and public health education. In addition, we are able to fund worldwide research that, we hope, will ultimately lead to a cure for our families battling these debilitating diseases.
