Do you like talking to hospice patients and their caregivers over the phone?
This is the position for you!
Volunteers work closely with the Manager of the Volunteer Department to receive proper training on how to make "tuck-in" calls to our hospice patients to prepare them medically and emotionally for the coming weekend. If you think, "I’m great over the phone," this is the perfect position for you.
Preferred Skills:
- 2-3 hours a week during normal business hours Thursdays or Fridays, sometime between 8-4:30pm
- Strong organization skills
- Excellent customer service skills, especially over the phone
- Flexibility
